Role Overview
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing team; a professional who will take end-to-end ownership of our finance operations and act as the financial steward of the business.
This is a hands-on controllership role with exposure to FP&A and business partnering, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the numbers but is ready to step into a strategic leadership role in the future.
The successful candidate will work directly with the CEO and senior leadership team, driving accuracy, compliance, and insight that supports business growth. Over time, this individual will have the opportunity to evolve into the Head of Finance as we expand across ASEAN and new markets.
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day finance operations: AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and cash management.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare statutory P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Manage tax filings, GST submissions, and statutory audits.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
- Partner with leadership on cash flow, funding requirements, and scenario planning.
- Establish strong financial controls and process improvements for scalability.
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
What You'll Bring
Education & Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- CPA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent professional qualification) preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit roles.
- Proven track record in financial controllership, ideally within a fast-scaling or dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with FP&A, budgeting, and business partnering to drive strategic outcomes.
Skills & Attributes
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to see both the detail and the big picture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with senior leadership.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a high-growth, fast-changing environment.
- Experience with Xero or other cloud-based accounting/ERP systems is a plus.
- High integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
