We are looking for a high-energy, tech-forward Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial controlling and cryptocurrency accounting operations. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be a strategic partner responsible for bridging the gap between traditional financial discipline and the fast-evolving Web3 landscape.
The ideal candidate is a versatile problem-solver who thrives on business changes and new initiatives. We need a financial architect who doesn't just manage existing processes but actively designs new value flows, automates data reconciliation using AI, and takes extreme ownership of the finance function's evolution.
Main responsibilities
- Strategic Design: Design and implement new value flows between entities and platforms to support evolving business models and treasury initiatives.
- Digital Transformation & AI: Lead the integration of AI tools and automation to streamline complex crypto transaction flows, data sanitization, and financial reporting.
- Crypto Controllership: Oversee accurate record-keeping for group entities, focusing on high-level asset reconciliation across institutional custody solutions and on-chain records.
- Management Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses, prioritizing data that drives treasury and management decision-making.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain financial data for multiple jurisdictions, applying a sharp sense of materiality and cost-benefit to accounting complexity based on specific regulatory needs.
- Internal Controls: Implement robust, scalable controls over digital asset movements and exchange activities.
- Regulatory & Tax: Manage compliance, tax planning, and audit requirements across diverse global jurisdictions, navigating the unique nuances of digital asset regulations.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 7+ years in accounting/finance, including audit and controllership. A Big 4 background is highly preferred.
- Web3 Fluency: Deep hands-on experience in cryptocurrency accounting, DeFi, and digital asset transaction flows.
- Versatility & Adaptation: Proven ability to adapt to rapid business changes and design new financial frameworks from scratch.
- AI & Automation Mindset: High degree of comfort using AI-driven tools to solve data gaps and automate reconciliation. You should see technology as the primary solution to manual roadblocks.
