Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare and maintain accurate daily, monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reporting of the Group&aposs performance
  • Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to the business and senior management
  • Develop and maintain real-time dashboards to support decision making
  • Ensure accounting compliance with IFRS/GAAP
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support front office business teams in improving business performance and new business initiatives

    Audit, Tax and Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure timely submission and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements across regulatory jurisdictions that the Group companies operate in.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and planning across tax jurisdictions that the Group companies operate in
  • Lead audit processes and management relationships with external auditors

    Process improvement and controls
  • Implement and enhance internal controls, financial systems and automation tools
  • Drive operational efficiency and scalability in finance workflows
  • Work with stakeholders to improve end-to-end operational and control efficiency and effectiveness

    People/Team Management
  • Assist Head of Finance in managing Singapore and offshore Finance teams
  • Guide and coach more junior members of the Finance team across different locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of finance or accounting experience in the financial industry and with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in Product Control functions is desirable but not mandatory
  • Familiar with handling full set of accounts, group consolidation, financial controls and tax related matters
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Python or PowerBI Query would be advantageous
