Job Title: Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

Your New Role
Review individual and consolidated financial statements across multiple Asia‑Pacific entities identify risks, ensure accuracy, and escalate critical issues to the Finance Director.
Manage regional financial consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with group accounting standards.
Coordinate external audits for multiple jurisdictions, including audit planning, documentation review, and timely resolution of audit findings.
Handle ad‑hoc and complex accounting matters (e.g. impairments, provisions, technical accounting assessments) and respond to information requests from HQ.
Review, update, and implement financial policies, approval matrices, and SOPs to strengthen governance and internal control frameworks across the region.
Support internal audits and lead the implementation of remediation and control improvement initiatives.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews at both entity and regional consolidated levels.
Oversee inter‑company transactions, transfer pricing support, and monitor departmental and regional budgets across multiple countries outside Singapore.
Lead and support the implementation of new finance or ERP systems, including process design, data migration validation, testing, user training, and post‑implementation stabilization.
Manage regional working capital, including cash flow planning, securing funding where required, and optimizing surplus cash.
Oversee banking relationships, fund transfers, and cash management policies across multiple Asia‑Pacific markets.
Review and verify corporate income tax returns for regional entities and manage responses to tax audits and regulatory inquiries.
Key Qualifications for Success
At least 6 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA are preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of Singapore taxation, including Corporate Income Tax, GST, withholding tax, and cross‑border tax matters.
Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) exposure to J‑SOX or internal control frameworks is an added advantage.
Exposure to treasury activities (e.g. cash flow management, FX awareness, surplus funds, or treasury systems) will be an added benefit.
Independent and self‑driven with strong business judgment, analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint experience with SAP is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to converse in Japanese is a plus for liaising with counterparts in Japan.
Prior experience working in a Japanese organization or Japanese MNC environment will be considered an advantage.
