Job summary
This role will oversee financial reports, ensure compliance with financial regulations, lead budgeting & forecasting processes & monitor performance.
Job Scope
1. Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze Financial performance and prepare reports.
2. Accounting and Reporting
- Oversee accounting processes and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare group financial statements and ensure compliance with regulations.
3. Cash Flow Management
- Monitor cash flow and manage company funds.
4. Cost Control
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses.
5. Team Management
- Lead and supervise the finance team.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
6. Liaison
- Communicate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
7. Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial laws and company policies.
- Stay updated on financial regulations and standards.
Requirement
- Only Singaporean/PR, Malaysian/NAS Work Permit holders, or local graduate bonded for local employment due to MoM quota limitation.
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent, ACCA.
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, forecasts, and reports to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in creating budgets and financial forecasts
- Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
