What the role is
The Corporate Services Division (CSVD) is part of the Corporate Development Group (CDG), which provides essential corporate services to support SSG's operations. This role sits within the Finance function, ensuring robust financial management, operational integrity, and compliance across the organization.
What you will beworking on
Reporting to the team lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations & Control: Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows, including reviewing expense reports, supplier invoices, and accrual journals.
- Audit & Reporting: Assist during audit fieldwork.
- Systems & Process Management: Perform system role assignment requests and monitor adherence to strict month-end closing deadlines. Assist in data and file migration validation to ensure accuracy during system transitions.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a bridge between CSVD and other divisions to follow up on outstanding items.
- Others: Support the team with any other ad-hoc administrative or operational duties as assigned.
What we are looking for
- Manager: Up to 5 years of relevant work experience in Financial Operations, Audit, or Accounting.
- Proficient in executing job duties with required competencies.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Able to work independently or as a team player
- Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and accounting principles is advantageous.
