About the Role

They are looking for an Finance/ Accounting Manager to lead financial operations for their Asia entities. This is a highly autonomous role, reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer. The role owns statutory accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and local operations across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle statutory accounting (month-end close, GL, intercompany transactions, accruals, reconciliations)
• Oversee AP, payments, cash forecasting, and banking operations in Asia
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and reporting packages
• Support consolidation into US parent entity, including intercompany balances and transfer pricing
• Manage external providers for statutory books, payroll, tax, and corporate secretarial matters
• Lead annual audits and act as key contact for external auditors
• Ensure regulatory compliance with MAS (Singapore) and SFC (Hong Kong) requirements
• Support payroll review, employer compliance, and year-end reporting
• Build scalable processes, internal controls, and drive automation
• Partner with senior leadership on expansion into new jurisdictions

What They Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CA required
• 5–10 years of experience in hedge funds, asset management, or MAS/SFC-regulated firms
• Experience with multi-entity / international consolidation and reporting into a US parent company ispreferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and working knowledge of SFRS / HKFRS
• ERP experience (Sage Intacct preferred) is a plus
• Independent, hands-on, and able to operate as the sole finance lead locally
• Strong control mindset, process improvement focus, and comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• fine with occasional business travel

Nice to Have

• Experience with transfer pricing and intercompany agreements
• Familiarity with opening bank accounts across Asia

This position can be based in both Hong Kong or Singapore.
