Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Finance Manager for our online gaming business in Singapore, you will serve as the critical strategic link between our Singapore operations and the Global Headquarters in Korea. Reporting directly to the Group CFO in Korea, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, ensuring fiscal stability, and aligning local performance with global objectives. This role requires a professional who can navigate both markets seamlessly, providing the vital insights and communication necessary to support strategic decision-making at the group level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

HQ Liaison & Strategic Alignment (Key Focus)

  • Global-Local Bridge: Act as the primary point of contact between the Singapore office and the Korean HQ to ensure seamless financial integration and communication.

  • Strategic Reporting: Translate and communicate Singapore's financial performance and market dynamics into actionable reports for the Group CFO and leadership in Korea.

  • Global Standards Compliance: Ensure that local financial practices and reporting align strictly with the Group's global accounting standards and corporate policies.

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Dual Reporting: Directly support the local CEO(Japan) and Group CFO (Korea) while leading and mentoring the Singapore finance team.

  • Performance Optimization: Analyze revenue streams and economic trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational enhancements in the Singapore market.

Financial Operations & Control

  • Precision Reporting: Take full accountability for the accuracy of all financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Statutory Compliance: Manage all local statutory filings and obligations (IRAS, MOM, CPF) and coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, preferably within an MNC.

  • Language (Mandatory): Professional fluency in both English and Korean.

    • Why Korean is essential: You will be responsible for high-level reporting, complex financial negotiations, and daily strategic coordination with stakeholders and leadership at the Korean HQ.
