Singapore River Cruise is a proud homegrown icon offering unique sightseeing experiences along the historic Singapore River. As we continue to grow and innovate, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Reconciliation:
- Reconcile daily sales reports and accounting records across various outlets.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between POS systems, bank records, and accounting entries.
Inventory & Stock Verification:
- Verify and monitor stock movement, usage, and balances.
- Work closely with operations and procurement to ensure stock records are accurate and updated.
Payroll Support:
- Assist in calculating staff payroll, including allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
Accounting System Management:
- Maintain accurate records using accounting software.
- Post journal entries, manage invoices, and prepare basic financial reports.
Excel Reporting & Analysis:
- Use advanced Excel functions for data analysis and financial reporting.
- Generate monthly summaries and ad hoc financial reports as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and/or at least 1 year of relevant experience in a finance or accounts role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software (preferably Xero)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in the tourism or service industry is an advantage
