About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Finance Executive to support the company's treasury, cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting functions.
This role focuses primarily on finance and treasury operations (not accounting closing) and will play a critical part in strengthening GAIA and ACRO's financial controls, liquidity management, and operational stability in Singapore.
The ideal candidate is a practical, reliable finance professional who can work independently in an SME environment and collaborate effectively with accounting, operations, and management teams.
Key Responsibilities
1) Cashflow & Treasury Management
- Prepare and update weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts
- Monitor bank balances and short-term liquidity positions
- Highlight potential cash shortfalls and propose solutions
- Support intercompany funding arrangements when required
- Track foreign exchange movements and assist with FX-related transactions
2) Payments & Banking Operations
- Review payment requests and ensure proper approvals
- Prepare bank transfers (GIRO/TT), cheques, and payment documentation
- Liaise with banks on account administration and transactions
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of banking records
3) Budgeting & Forecast Support
- Assist in annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting
- Support analysis of Actual vs Budget variances
- Prepare summaries on key cost drivers for management review
4) Financial Reporting Support
- Compile monthly finance dashboards (cash position, working capital, key metrics)
- Assist in preparing management reports and presentation materials
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure data consistency
5) Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with payment policies and approval workflows
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
- Support internal and external audit requests as needed
6) GAIA & ACRO Coordination
- Provide finance support to International ACRO Pte. Ltd. where required
- Assist in intercompany reconciliations and cost allocations
- Collaborate with the accounting and operations teams on financial matters
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3-8 years of relevant finance or treasury experience preferred
- Hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting, payments, and banking
- Strong proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Xero, SAP, or similar) is an advantage
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced SME environment
