Position Overview:
As a Finance Executive at Kyberlife, you will play a pivotal role in managing all finance-related tasks and minor HR responsibilities for the company, its business operations, and its platforms. Your role will require close collaboration with operations and executive teams to ensure smooth financial transactions, strategic planning, and adherence to compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Duties:
- Manage Kyberlife's financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, CPF contributions, and company administration.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly Profit and Loss (PnL) statements, Balance sheet (BS) and Cash Flow (CF) statements and collaborate with senior management on investment and financial planning initiatives.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tracking, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
- Assisting with drawing up quotations, invoices, and operational finance activities within the orgaanisation
- Administer tax filing processes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) submissions in Singapore.
- Assist in financial planning and budgeting efforts, working with the executive team to support business growth.
- Collaborate with operations and executive teams to manage financial transactions and interactions with sellers and service providers.
HR Duties:
- Manage minor HR tasks such as onboarding new team members, maintaining employee records, and overseeing finance claims.
- Ensure smooth payroll processing, including CPF submissions and other compliance-related activities.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and present financial reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other relevant documentation to senior executives.
- Monitor department budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Support other departments within the start-up culture, learning and contributing as needed to promote overall company success.
Required:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or an equivalent field of study
- 12 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Preferred / Good to Have:
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software, particularly Xero
