Finance Director
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Drive business strategy through financial analysis, modelling, and performance evaluation.
- Assess new business opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives to support sustainable growth.
Financial Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead FP&A activities, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP and corporate standards.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, variance analysis, and financial performance metrics across regional sites.
- Promote strong financial discipline and data-driven decision making across leadership teams.
Controllership & Governance
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Ensure the integrity of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
- Manage tax, treasury, statutory reporting, and external audits.
- Partner with HQ finance teams to align with global policies and reporting standards.
Operational Excellence
- Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and working capital performance.
- Support Lean and continuous improvement programs across operations.
- Enhance inventory management, standard costing, and productivity tracking.
- Leverage financial analytics and system automation to improve reporting efficiency.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional finance team.
- Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams.
Requirements
- Significant senior finance leadership experience in a multinational manufacturing environment ( $100M turnover).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX-controlled environments.
- Broad finance expertise across FP&A, controllership, tax, treasury, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business performance.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Strong ERP and financial systems knowledge, with exposure to automation and process improvement.
- Analytical, commercially minded, and highly collaborative leader.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification is advantageous
