Finance Director

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
Drive business strategy through financial analysis, modelling, and performance evaluation.
Assess new business opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives to support sustainable growth.

Financial Leadership & Performance Management

Lead FP&A activities, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP and corporate standards.
Develop and monitor KPIs, variance analysis, and financial performance metrics across regional sites.
Promote strong financial discipline and data-driven decision making across leadership teams.

Controllership & Governance

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Ensure the integrity of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
Manage tax, treasury, statutory reporting, and external audits.
Partner with HQ finance teams to align with global policies and reporting standards.

Operational Excellence

Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and working capital performance.
Support Lean and continuous improvement programs across operations.
Enhance inventory management, standard costing, and productivity tracking.
Leverage financial analytics and system automation to improve reporting efficiency.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead and develop a high-performing regional finance team.
Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams.

Requirements

Significant senior finance leadership experience in a multinational manufacturing environment ( $100M turnover).
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX-controlled environments.
Broad finance expertise across FP&A, controllership, tax, treasury, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business performance.
Experience leading and developing finance teams.
Strong ERP and financial systems knowledge, with exposure to automation and process improvement.
Analytical, commercially minded, and highly collaborative leader.
