About the Role
The Finance Director will lead and oversee all financial functions across the organisation, playing a key role in shaping and executing the company's financial strategy. You will be responsible for end-to-end financial planning, governance, risk management, and reporting, while supporting the CEO and executive team as a trusted strategic advisor. The role also includes investor and partner relations, ensuring compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements, and overseeing regional financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the company's financial strategy in line with overall business objectives.
- Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and finance function.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior management on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead the preparation and oversight of budgets, forecasts, and management reporting.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational and expansion needs.
- Contribute to long-term business planning and capital allocation decisions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- At least 10 years of senior finance leadership experience, ideally within the F&B or entertainment industry.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and risk management.
- Proven track record of working with external auditors and delivering accurate consolidated financial statements for multi-entity organisations.
- Experience in both audit firms and in-house finance roles within private companies
