Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to appoint a Finance Director to lead its regional finance functions.
This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of financial governance, strategic planning, and regional finance operations, partnering closely with business leaders across markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the regional finance function across several regions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional priorities
- Lead and develop multi-country finance teams, fostering strong performance, capability building, and succession planning across markets
- Own the regional budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance management processes, delivering timely and actionable insights to senior management
- Act as a strategic business partner to regional and country leadership teams, supporting commercial decision-making, growth initiatives, and profitability optimisation
- Oversee financial controls, risk management, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
- Manage statutory reporting, audits, and engagement with external auditors, advisors, and regulators across multiple markets
- Drive process standardisation, finance transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Review and strengthen internal controls, policies, and reporting standards to ensure consistency and best practice across the region
- Provide oversight on cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet management
- Support regional initiatives and cross-border projects, including system implementations and operational enhancements
Requirements:
- 10 years of finance experience, with at least several years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing regional / multi-country finance teams
- Strong background in financial control, FP&A, and stakeholder management
- Prior exposure to APAC markets
- Professional qualification preferred (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills
