About Our Client
Our client is a global organisation within the automotive and industrial lubricants industry, known for its strong heritage in engineering performance and innovation. The company develops and distributes a wide range of high-performance lubricants and specialty fluids used across automotive, motorsports, industrial, and marine applications.
With an established presence across Asia Pacific and other international markets, the business partners with distributors, manufacturers, and commercial customers to deliver high-quality products and technical expertise. They are currently looking to appoint a Finance Controller (APAC) to support regional financial consolidation, planning, and performance management across multiple markets.
Job Description
- Lead APAC financial consolidation across actuals, budget, forecast and long-term planning cycles
- Manage monthly regional reporting, variance analysis and performance reviews
- Analyse key drivers impacting sales, gross margin and EBIT, providing insights to senior leadership
- Support budgeting and forecasting in partnership with country finance and business teams
- Develop KPIs, dashboards and financial performance metrics to monitor regional results
- Present financial results and analysis to the CFO and leadership team
- Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and profitability improvement
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and financial governance policies
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings
- Coordinate with regional teams on statutory reporting, treasury activities and transfer pricing matters
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, including ERP improvements and reporting automation
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Professional qualification(s) such as CPA, CA or ACCA is preferred
- A minimum of 7 of relevant finance experience, including regional FP&A, controlling or consolidation exposure
- Prior experience in a multinational trading, industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards such as IFRS or equivalent accounting frameworks
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP exposure to finance transformation or system implementations is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide commercial insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a regional environment
