Job Description
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with external audit requirements and liaise with auditors as necessary.
- Analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance reporting processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and policies.
- Handle corporate tax reporting, including preparation of supporting documents and coordination with tax advisors where required.
- Perform impairment assessments, including reviewing indicators of impairment, preparing valuation inputs, and ensuring compliance
- Support the preparation of management reports for strategic decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Specialist (Consolidation & Reporting) should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting and consolidation.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting standards and practices.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
- Ability and experience working with large volume of entities.
- Proficiency with financial systems and software.
