Finance Business Partner - Heavy infrastructure (Logistics, Supply Chain)
Overview
This is an established organisation operating within the logistics, infrastructure and asset-intensive sector, with a strong regional presence and a focus on long-term value creation. As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking a Finance Business Partner to serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, providing financial insights, commercial analysis and decision support to enhance business performance and support future investments.
Role
Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will oversee the full spectrum of management reporting, financial planning and business performance management for a key business unit. In addition to leading a team of finance professionals, you will work closely with business stakeholders to develop budgets, forecasts and financial plans, evaluate business performance, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. The role will also play a key part in assessing strategic investments through financial modelling, valuation and feasibility analysis, while driving process improvements, strengthening governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate across corporate functions and provide commercially focused recommendations to support sustainable growth and value creation.
Requirements
The successful candidate is a degree holder in Accountancy or Finance, with at least 8 years experience in finance, accounting, management reporting, budgeting, FP&A or finance business partnering. Candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, sound commercial acumen, and proven experience influencing senior stakeholders will be highly regarded. Prior leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams is essential, as are excellent communication and presentation skills. Exposure to logistics, supply chain, terminals, ports, infrastructure or other capital-intensive industries will be advantageous. The successful candidate should also be open to regional travel and potential overseas relocation opportunities.
