Job Summary
Responsible for managing the full set of accounts and administrative duties to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency within the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts to ensure comprehensive financial record-keeping and reporting
- Execute invoicing processes to accurately bill clients and maintain revenue flow
- Process accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions to maintain accurate cash flow records
- Record general ledger entries to reflect all financial transactions accurately
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets schedules to support accurate financial statements
- Complete timely and accurate month-end closing activities to ensure reliable financial reporting
- Conduct quarterly GST reporting to comply with tax regulations
- Perform project costing analysis to monitor and control project expenses and profitability
- Manage office administration tasks to support smooth daily operations
- Communicate effectively with English and Mandarin speaking clients to facilitate business interactions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum certificate or higher qualification in Accounting
- Several years of relevant working experience, preferably in a shipyard environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
- Familiarity with Globe 3 accounting software is advantageous
- Self-starter with the ability to learn independently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Preferably residing in Jurong for ease of commute
