Job Description

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a growing science and medical distributor. The role focuses on cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations, while preparing financial models, business cases, and management reports. You will provide insights for strategic decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support process improvements and ad hoc projects.

Our client is a leading regional solutions provider in the science and medical sector, delivering end-to-end services from research and quality control to pharmaceutical production and clinical diagnostics. With a nearly five-decade track record, the company operates across Southeast Asia, combining science, medical, and project expertise to support clients and partners wherever needed. Their Singapore office is expanding and looking for a talented Finance Analyst to join the team.

Description

  • Prepare, consolidate, and analyse financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
  • Collaborate with country and cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
  • Monitor key financial performance indicators, including working capital, cash flow, and treasury metrics, focusing on cash conversion cycle, DSO, DPO, and DIO
  • Develop actual and forecast cash flow reporting and analysis, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business needs
  • Support treasury operations, including cash flow projections, liquidity management, and cash optimisation strategies
  • Develop business cases, financial models, and presentations for senior management and board reviews
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, cost efficiencies, and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies, and assist in internal and external audits
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (local universities preferred: SMU, NTU, NUS)
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, or treasury
  • Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and provide actionable insights
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvements
