Job Summary
Support technology finance operations by generating financial reports, managing budgets, and overseeing IT asset management to optimize spend and ensure compliance within a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Generate and analyze PR/GR and financial reports using SAP and enterprise systems to support accurate financial decision-making.
- Process invoice payments and reconcile technology-related expenses to maintain timely and accurate financial records.
- Maintain data integrity across financial systems to ensure reliable reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with senior technology leaders to monitor and optimize budget utilization for IT projects and operations.
- Support renewal and budgeting processes for software and hardware contracts to ensure cost-effective technology investments.
- Assist in managing project budgets by tracking spend against forecasts and identifying variances for corrective action.
- Prepare monthly financial dashboards and insights to inform the Technology Finance team's strategic planning.
- Oversee IT asset management, including inventory tracking, issuance, and decommissioning of laptops and hardware to maintain asset accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements to uphold financial governance standards.
Required competencies and certifications
- Experience in a finance role within a technology-driven environment, financial institution, or consulting firm (minimum 1 year) or relevant internship experience for fresh graduates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint, to perform data analysis and communication tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and support financial modeling and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Working knowledge of SAP (PEMS or similar ERP systems) to generate and analyze financial reports efficiently.
- Experience with financial modeling and data analysis to enhance budgeting and forecasting accuracy.
- Solid understanding of financial treatment for technology expenses, distinguishing CapEx from OpEx.
- Experience with IT asset lifecycle management to support accurate tracking and control of technology assets.
