Handle the day-to-day accounting operations of the Company, including voucher preparation, data entry, bank reconciliations and maintenance of accounting records.
Maintain a full set of accounts for the Company and its investment entities, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing and clear, up-to-date ledgers.
Coordinate and work closely with external accounting firms and auditors on more complex accounting matters, statutory reporting and annual closing.
Prepare basic financial and management reports (e.g. P&L, balance sheet, cash flow summaries) to support management decision-making.
Organise and maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for the Company and its investment entities.
Support tax-related and other compliance requirements by providing accurate financial information to external service providers.
Perform any other finance- and accounting-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Relevant hands-on experience in accounting candidates with experience in public accounting firms or third-party accounting service providers will have an advantage.
Able to manage day-to-day accounting work independently and coordinate effectively with external accountants for more complex or larger assignments.
Familiar with commonly used accounting and office software, and able to learn new systems when required.
Meticulous, well-organised and responsible, with good time management to meet monthly and annual closing timelines.
Good communication and teamwork skills to work with internal stakeholders and external professional firms.
