The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of waste management equipment and vehicle such as compactors, shredders, balers, recycling systems and waste & cleaning vehicles. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on fieldwork, and customer service skills to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
. Install, set up, and test waste handling and recycling equipment at customer sites.
. Conduct commissioning and operator training for end-users.
Maintenance & Repair
. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
. Replace worn-out parts and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Technical Support
. Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
. Prepare service reports, recommend spare parts, and advise on system upgrades.
Customer Service & Compliance
. Act as the main technical contact for customers, ensuring timely and professional support.
. Ensure all work is carried out in line with company policies, workplace safety, and environmental regulations.
Documentation & Reporting
. Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs, job reports, and spare parts usage.
. Feedback common issues to engineering and product teams for continuous improvement.
