We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our client dynamic service team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic devices-including medical equipment, printers, scanners, and other precision instruments-at client sites across Singapore. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on engineering, customer service, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, calibration, and commissioning of electronic devices
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in medical, imaging, and office equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance and performance checks to ensure optimal device functionality
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and clients
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements during service activities
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in field service or technical support for electronic devices
- Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, sensors, and embedded software
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, schematics, and service manuals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
- Valid Class 3 driving license preferred
Preferred Experience
- Prior exposure to servicing medical devices, multi-function printers, barcode scanners, or lab instruments
- Experience with calibration protocols and ISO standards
- Basic networking and software troubleshooting skills
