Field Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Entry-Level Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support for laboratory instruments, analytical equipment, and related hardware and software systems.

The successful candidate will support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration activities at customer sites. Working with experienced engineers and technical specialists, the candidate will develop practical field service skills while ensuring equipment reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction. Fresh graduates with a relevant engineering or science background are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

. Support installation, setup, configuration, and commissioning of laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.

. Assist in implementing hardware, software, and networking solutions at customer sites.

. Perform equipment verification and functional testing following installation or relocation.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

. Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and basic repair activities.

. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and equipment performance issues within the scope of

training and competency.

. Identify technical issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or relevant technical

support teams.

. Provide recommendations on preventive maintenance and equipment care.

Customer Service & Technical Coordination

. Deliver professional on-site technical support to customers.

. Communicate equipment status, technical issues, and service progress to relevant stakeholders.

. Coordinate with internal technical teams, project coordinators, and external vendors to resolve

customer issues.

. Support delivery of integrated technical solutions involving equipment, peripherals, software, and

associated systems.

Equipment Calibration & Documentation

. Assist with equipment calibration and performance verification where applicable.

. Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, equipment checklists, and technical

documentation.

. Ensure work is completed according to established procedures and quality standards.

Safety & Compliance

. Comply with customer site access, safety, security, and credentialing requirements.

Requirements

Education & Experience

. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,

Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Applied Science, or a related technical discipline.

. Fresh graduates or candidates with minimal relevant work experience are welcome.

. Relevant internship, laboratory, equipment servicing, or technical project experience is advantageous.

Technical Skills

. Basic understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or instrumentation systems.

. Strong interest in laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, and technical troubleshooting.

. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with software installation or configuration.

. Ability to understand technical manuals, service instructions, and engineering documentation.
