Facility Management (FM), Engineer (ACMV)

(Tengah General and Community Hospital)

We are looking for a Facilities Engineer with expertise in maintenance of ACMV systems and facilities operations to join our Facilities Management (FM) team.

This is an FM position which will have a major focus on FM planning for a new hospital that is to be completed in about 5 years time. The candidate would be working closely with the Hospital Development team, MOHH Design team, Medical Planner and Users on the FM aspects of the new hospital. Upon completion of the new hospital, the candidate would be part of the FM team to operationalize the hospital.

The candidate may also be attached to the Site team as and when required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the FM Site Lead and Senior Engineers.
  • Attend and participate in relevant meetings (design planning, interface, technical clarification, etc).
  • Support and input to the consultants technical & design proposal to meet hospital's operation needs and maintainability of FM systems.
  • Keep abreast of innovative technologies such as automation, robotics, etc in FM and healthcare for possible implementation in the new hospital.
  • Support Group Facilities Management functions as and when required.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree Degree in Engineering (ACMV or related discipline).
  • At least 3 years of working experience in Building and Facilities Maintenance or related field with prior experience in ACMV installation work.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, quick thinker and an effective problem solver.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, be well organised and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion.
  • Possess strong analytical, communications, written and presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with a high degree of initiative and independence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relations with different stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude and determination to ensure required outcomes are achieved and takes responsibility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with BCA Greenmark certification and GreenGov.SG requirements will be an advantage.
