PROJECT ENGINEER-ACMV

Job Description:

. Assist the Project Manager in the execution of project management tasks, including the development and monitoring of project schedules, coordination with Clients, Consultants, subcontractors, and ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of assignment.

. To report and monitor of progress of project to Project Manager.

. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is progressing according to specifications and quality standards, addressing any discrepancies promptly.

. To prepare method statement, shop drawings, installations / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for ACMV related works with project teams.

. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, materials, inspection form, correspondence with Clients, Consultants, subcontractors and other necessary records.

. Provide technical support to clients and internal project teams, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and ensure quick resolution.

. Ensure timely project delivery within specified deadlines. Monitor and enforce cost control measures to maintain profitability and meet financial objectives.

. Assist in site administration tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations and addressing any logistical or operational challenges that may arise.

. To liaise and work with relevant subcontractors/consultants/clients/project teams on shop drawings / equipment / material submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.

Job Requirements:

. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

. Min 3 years experience in chiller & air conditioning system, ACMV & HVAC works in Singapore.
. Knowledge of M&E project requirements and contract requirements

. Strong technical knowledge of ACMV systems, including equipment selection, heat load calculations, duct static pressure calculations, duct system design and chilled water pipe system design.

. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to ACMV systems.

. Familiarity with chiller/cooling tower/chilled water system/VRV system/MV system.

. Prior working experience in commercial project, A&A works and chilled water system is an added advantage.

. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.

. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software used for HVAC system design and drafting.

. Able to commence work immediately or short notice.
