Facilities & Safety Manager
This role oversees workplace and fire safety, regulatory compliance, and facilities operations. You will drive safety initiatives, manage service providers, and ensure effective policies, systems, and processes are in place to support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and enforce EHS policies, risk management, and safe work procedures.
- Lead safety inspections, incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and fire safety drills.
- Liaise with authorities on licensing, permits, and fire safety compliance.
- Prepare WSH reports and coordinate safety committees, trainings, and awareness programs.
- Manage facilities maintenance, M&E systems, security, housekeeping, and service providers.
- Oversee upgrading, refurbishment, and space planning works to meet operational needs.
- Ensure service providers adhere to safety standards and risk management practices.
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related fields.
- At least 10 years experience as a WSHO and FSM.
- MOM-registered WSH Officer and certified Fire Safety Manager.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations, ISO and OHSAS standards.
- Experience in policy development, planning, and project management.
- Resourceful team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
