Facade Designer / Coordinator

Job description:

. Able to drawing facade shop drawings and design sketches.

. Check structural drawings and architectural drawings for any design concerns or discrepancies.

. Attend necessary design meetings to resolve design issues and present design proposal, and write meeting minutes.

. Coordinate with Client, Main Contractor, Architect and Consultants for design & technical concerns.

. Communicate closely with in-house China design team to understand the design & technical concerns / issues for shop drawing deliveries.

. Raise RFIs for any design / technical concerns / issues

. Provide technical advice to team and relay the meeting results to China design team.

. Submit shop drawings and follow up the approval.

. Monitor the shop drawing and approval schedule.

. Monitor the design changes or additional scope of work.

. Support the project team for any site issues when necessary.

. Report to Design Manager or Team Leader

Requirement:

. Min. 3 years Design experience.

. Familiar with Curtain Wall System, including unitized and stick type add advantages

. Proficient in Autocad software and generally use Revit, Rhino, Microsoft office / excel.

. Attention to detail and accuracy.

. Able to perform task under pressure and totally committed to follow through the tasks given within tight schedules

. Good problem solving and communication skills

- Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required to liaise with Chinese-speaking colleagues and associates.

Working Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm

• Alternate Saturdays: 9:00am - 1:00pm (WFH arrangement available after 3 months of probation.)
