Facade Access Engineer

In this role, you will provide specialist consulting services within the Facade Access and Maintenance discipline, with a strong emphasis on the design of height safety systems, Building Maintenance Units (BMUs), rope access, and ground-based access equipment.

The role involves contributing technical expertise across a diverse portfolio of projects, supporting safe, compliant, and practical access solutions.

The Opportunity

. Deliver concept and detailed design services for a wide range of facade access and maintenance projects

. Contribute technical input to projects, including materials selection, system design, inspections, and post-tender reviews

. Manage projects, ensuring time, quality, budget, and client expectations are met under senior supervision

. Prepare technical reports, tender submissions, and client presentations that clearly communicate key issues and recommendations

. Undertake site inspections of buildings, roofs, safety line systems, and BMUs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation

Is this role right for you

. A tertiary degree in Mechanical, Civil or similar Engineering, or a related discipline, with a recognised professional qualification.

. At least 4 years experience in Façade Access consulting or a closely related field.

. A strong interest and developing expertise in facade access systems, height safety, BMUs, and rope access solutions

. Solid technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear, professional reports and documentation

. Awareness of project management principles and the ability to manage workload across multiple active projects

. Knowledge of European and Singaporean Standards and relevant local legislation

. A proactive, client-focused mindset with the drive to deliver an outstanding customer experience and build lasting relationships
