We are representing our client (An established IT technology provider) to look for an assistant Project Manager to support and drive successful delivery of cloud projects across AWS,Azure, or Google Cloud. The role requires strong project management skills, the ability to manage P&L with discipline, and proven experience in leading cloud-based initiatives. The assistant project manager will work closely with stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered ontime, within scope, and with measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Planning, executing, and managing end-to-end cloud migration, transformation, or deployment projects (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Overseeing project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Maintain tight control of project P&L, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies while turning challenges into opportunities.
- Drive collaboration across teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and solutions-focused culture within the team.
- Ensure compliance with best practices, company policies, and industry standards.
Requirement
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven project management experience in cloud-related projects (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, migration processes, and delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to turn challenges into opportunities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-grade cloud solutions and delivery models.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Energetic, positive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
