Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Operations Manager (Catering) to oversee daily logistics and operational workflows. The role ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment, smooth delivery execution, and exceptional customer service. The Operations Manager will coordinate staff schedules, manage drivers, and act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and complaints, driving efficiency and quality across all operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end operational workflows for daily service activities.

  • Manage and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely, efficient service.

  • Supervise inventory and fulfillment processes to guarantee order accuracy and quality.

Scheduling & Team Coordination

  • Create and manage schedules for delivery and operations staff.

  • Monitor staff performance and enforce operational standards and safety procedures.

  • Coordinate with teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

Customer Service & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints.

  • Investigate and resolve service issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers at all times.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Ensure food handling, packaging, and delivery meet safety and company standards.

  • Conduct regular checks on operational performance and implement improvements.

Reporting & Administrative Duties

  • Monitor operational KPIs such as delivery times, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare operational reports and recommend process improvements.

  • Collaborate with management on cost control, resource planning, and workflow optimization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations, logistics, or a similar role (food service or catering experience preferred).

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency with scheduling systems, delivery management tools, and basic office software.
