We are looking for a F&B Assistant/Manager to join our team!
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure seamless service delivery
- Lead and motivate the service team to deliver exceptional, personalised dining experiences aligned with Shang Palace standards
- Ensure all guests receive warm, attentive, and professional service at all times
- Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and ambiance in accordance with brand and hygiene standards
- Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfactory resolution
- Support in staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations
- Assist in inventory control, ordering, and cost management to meet financial targets
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service
- Support the implementation of promotions, special events, and seasonal menus
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a fine‑dining or luxury hospitality environment
- Previous supervisory or assistant managerial experience in F&B operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for service excellence
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Well‑groomed, professional, and able to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
