Job Description
- Coordinate IT equipment procurement, liaise with vendors, and arrange deliveries to vessels
- Communicate with service providers (VSAT, IT, Cybersecurity) and schedule maintenance
- Track vessel inventory and manage spare inventory
- Assist in documentation as and when requested (drafting of circulars, audit data, on guidance from supervisor)
- Update status of project implementation as per guidance from supervisor and organize monthly IT meetings
- Maintain user records, coordinate onboarding/offboarding, and manage access verification
- Process invoices, maintain certifications, and provide logistical support for IT staff
Requirement
- Vendor and procurement management
- MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) - for reports, documentation and coordination
- User access, database and inventory management tool (preferred but not required)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with vendor, teams and vessels crew
- Ability and willingness to adapt and learn new technologies
- Experience in maritime IT operations (a plus but not required)
