[What the role is]
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team to safeguard the environmental and public health of Singapore. You will be part of the Vector Control and Operations Division responsible for planning vector-borne diseases surveillance, prevention, and control programmes. An evidence-based, integrated vector management approach underpins the work that the Division does. You will work alongside internal and external partners to ensure operational effectiveness and safeguard the environmental public health of Singapore.
[What you will be working on]
You Will Be Responsible For The Following
- Use tools (e.g. Excel) and data analysis to manage contracts effectively
- Coordinate with colleagues in regional offices to conduct audits and ensure service providers meet quality standards
- Analyse contractor performance data and develop insights to enhance service delivery
- Manage budgets and oversee payment processing for completed projects
- Propose enhancements to contract specifications by applying operational knowledge
- Review and streamline work processes to optimise contract management efficiency
- Trial and implement AI tools, coding solutions, and dashboards to improve contract management efficiency
- Create comprehensive templates and guides for systematic data collection
- Lead the adoption of new digital solutions to enhance operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with team members to develop automated systems and processes to reduce manual workload
- Any other duties with regard to Vector Control work

Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
- Willing to support operations outside of regular office hours, when required
