Executive / Senior Executive Accounting

Our client is an established MNC within the logistics and transportation sector, with regional operations across Asia. They are looking for an accounting professional to join their Singapore team.

This role offers exposure beyond day-to-day accounting operations, with opportunities to work with regional stakeholders, review financial information, support reporting and contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities across AR, AP and GL
• Support daily and monthly cash management, reconciliations and reporting
• Review outstanding balances and follow up with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare periodic reports and provide insights based on financial information
• Perform reviews and control assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Work closely with regional and overseas offices to resolve accounting-related queries
• Support system enhancements and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and other business initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience within sea-freight forwarding, container shipping or related logistics environments is preferred
• Candidates with audit experience and exposure to financial review/analysis will have an advantage
• Strong foundation in AR, AP and GL, with the ability to analyse and investigate accounting information
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Looker or other BI tools is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, meticulous and comfortable working in a regional environment
