[What the role is]
The Public Hygiene Council (PHC) was formed in 2011 to help raise standards of public hygiene and cleanliness in Singapore. The Public Hygiene Promotion and Partnerships Department of the National Environment Agency (NEA) supports and works closely with PHC, its partners and stakeholders, to develop and implement outreach and partnerships programmes to shape and achieve the desired outcome of a truly clean Singapore.
[What you will be working on]
Duties
The Executive will support the engagement of industry stakeholders, to promote corporate environmental stewardship and uplift environmental hygiene standards. The Executive will be responsible for, but not limited to, carrying out the following duties:
- Plan, coordinate and organise outreach initiatives and events to engage industry stakeholders and promote corporate environmental stewardship.
- Work closely with industry stakeholders (e.g. industry leaders, trade associations, etc.) to develop educational and publicity materials to provide timely updates to industry partners
- Build and engage a network of industry partners to support PHCs programmes and initiatives
- Manage, coordinate and facilitate requests for clean-up activities and handle public enquiries for PHC related matters
- Provide administrative and logistical support for PHCs events and initiatives
Assist in tracking and managing PHCs warehouse inventory
[What we are looking for]
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
- Think strategically, plan and apply analytical reasoning in the area of stakeholder engagement
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience with stakeholder engagement, outreach, or partnerships development
- Adept at engaging industry partners and building rapport with stakeholders across different sectors
- A good team player who enjoys communicating and working with others
- Organised and able to multi-task
- Mature, independent and resourceful
- Able to work outside office hours or at weekends, when necessary
