Duties & Responsibilities
. Procurement of goods and services, including the process from invitation of quotes and/or tender process to the award of quotations and tenders.
. Drawing up a plan for the purchase of goods, equipment and services.
. Preparing, establishing and managing contracts.
. Reviewing quotations and vendor selection.
. Training staff to ensure compliance with the procurement policies of the company.
. Recommending improvement in procedures.
. Establishing and maintaining consistent procurement regulations among the various departments.
. Ensuring conflict of interest situations do not arise in the procurement activities.
. Maintaining accurate records of purchases, budgets, expenditure, suppliers and pricing.
. Liaising with the departments on their requirements, including the quality and quantity of goods and services requested and delivery schedule.
. Negotiating with suppliers on the best deals for the company.
. Maintaining and developing good relations with the suppliers.
. Tracking of orders.
. Any other duties as assigned by Director, Finance.
