Overview

As part of the Public Relations team at ONE Championship, The Executive, Public Relations will support the team to ensure 360-degree success for all ONE Championship related brand and Public Relations initiatives to promote both; global and local activities.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a relationship between media (Sports, lifestyle, business) and the company
• Interest perspectives of Martial Art sports that attract different attention of different targeted audiences/media
• Organise and handle PR or Marketing events/activities
• Coordinate with relevant teams on various communications initiatives
• Design a PR plan / Marketing opportunity or idea for each PR/Marketing activity
• Build ground-up, PR & Marketing driven campaigns that increase brand awareness through media/partners
• Provide creative media pitching angles & providing input for drafting pitches, media briefings, Q&As, etc.
• Keeping a finger on the pulse of breaking news, spotting trends and other editorials/content opportunities
• Project management: manage projects by setting priorities and maintaining deadlines
• Coordinate with global team on any requirements: for example, athletes activation, partnership opportunity with athletes, athletes interview request, and translation TH to ENG
• Summarise report for each PR project / Monthly coverage

Requirements:

• 1-3 years working in PR or Corporate Communications
• Experience working with global media companies and journalists
• Experience working with athletes or other talent
• Strong knowledge of global sports and MMA media
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Maniacal attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership skills to organise remote teams and work cross-functionally
• Ability to work an event-based schedule, which includes some nights and weekends
