Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, proactive, and versatile Marketing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will take direct ownership of our digital marketing, brand identity, and PR efforts. The ideal candidate is a hands-on executor capable of managing and delivering branding and communication strategies independently, reducing reliance on third parties and collaborating with external agencies only when necessary.

Job Description
Brand Management & PR

  • Brand Identity Ownership: Take direct charge of developing and maintaining the brand identity to ensure alignment with the company's vision and values. Provide guidelines and objectives to external branding agencies only when specialized collaboration is required.

  • In-House PR & Communications: Lead and execute marketing communication strategies for product launches, events, and brand campaigns. Manage and collaborate with a PR agency only when necessary to scale major campaigns.

  • Collateral Design & Execution: Design and produce brand collaterals directly, ensuring strict consistency and adherence to brand standards across all materials. Work with third-party suppliers primarily for production and printing.

  • Activations & Media Kits: Independently plan brand activations and compile, write, and edit press release dockets to brand standards.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Directly explore, pitch, and manage opportunities for brand partnerships and collaborations with KOLs, stockists, and other fashion/lifestyle brands aligned with company values.

Content Strategy & Social Media Management

  • Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive social media and content strategy aligned with marketing goals across all digital channels, ensuring consistency in messaging.

  • Content Creation & Curation: Independently create, capture, and curate always-on engaging content (graphics, videos, GIFs) across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

  • Multimedia Production: Provide high-quality photography, videography, and editing services for brand-related content. Produce high-quality written copy, video, and graphical assets that resonate with the target audience.

  • Community Engagement: Foster relationships with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly via social media, email, and WhatsApp.

  • Trend Monitoring: Monitor and stay up-to-date with current social media trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.

Digital Advertising & Performance Marketing

  • In-House Ad Campaigns: Take full internal ownership of digital marketing ad creation (including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ads) from conceptualization, design, and copywriting to execution and analysis.

  • Optimization: Curate visuals and copy specifically optimized to hit established KPIs and drive brand engagement.

E-Commerce, Website Management & Email Marketing

  • E-Commerce Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website, including product listings, content updates, and promotional activities. Monitor eMarketplace platforms (TikTok, etc.).

  • Website Content: Personally manage website content, ensuring it remains fresh, engaging, and aligned with brand values.

  • Email Marketing: Independently develop, build, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns aimed at customer acquisition, retention, and engagement, including the segmentation of email lists based on customer behaviors and preferences.

SEO, Analytics & Reporting

  • SEO Optimization: Utilize SEO best practices to optimize website and digital content for maximum visibility, search engine ranking, and a seamless user experience.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor website and social media performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, reach, and engagement).

  • Reporting: Generate weekly reports on website traffic and email performance. Consolidate and present comprehensive monthly social media and digital marketing reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Internal & External Coordination: Collaborate directly with internal cross-functional teams (merchandising, product development) and external vendors to ensure effective communication and campaign execution.

  • Inter-team Alignment: Collaborate with the overseas team to standardize marketing strategies.

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance on maintaining brand identity across all digital platforms. Train and supervise interns as the main person-in-charge.

Other Ad-hoc Duties

  • Be part of the rotation to pick and pack customers orders on a weekly basis.

  • Assist in stock takes and liaise with delivery partners for logistics matters.

  • Assist in the planning, set-up, and execution of event pop-ups, photoshoots, and media events.

Participate in and actively promote products during live events.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of working experience in a digital marketing or brand management role, ideally within the local fashion retail industry. Proven track record of executing campaigns independently with minimal agency reliance.

  • Technical Skillset: Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.

  • Content Capture: Experience in capturing and creating high-quality content (videos, images) utilizing an iPhone.

  • Advertising Knowledge: Experience with Google Advertising and relevant certifications is highly preferred.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, copywriting, and interpersonal skills. Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing projects end-to-end.
