Job Summary

This hands-on role involves running events, managing social media, growing e-commerce, engaging homeschooling and kindergarten communities, and supporting regional distributors with marketing materials.

Responsibilities

Community & Events

  • Plan and represent SKOOL21 at community fairs, education expos, kindergarten open days, and homeschooling events in Singapore
  • Organize and host online webinars and training sessions on the SKOOL21 learning portal
  • Conduct hands-on activities with children and parents to demonstrate SKOOL21 products
  • Collect and document feedback from parents and educators at events

School & Community Outreach

  • Lead outreach efforts to kindergartens, primary schools, and MOE networks in Singapore to promote product trials and adoption
  • Develop engagement with Singapore's homeschooling community through parent networks and online groups
  • Follow up with schools and parents after demonstrations to advance adoption processes

Digital & Social Media Marketing

  • Manage and post regularly on SKOOL21's social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Create marketing materials such as social posts, flyers, EDMs, and event banners using Canva or equivalent tools
  • Prepare marketing assets for regional distributors (Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia) to use on their channels
  • Promote webinars, training sessions, and product launches through digital channels

E-Commerce & Online Sales

  • Manage SKOOL21's online store listings including product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability
  • Drive traffic to the online store through social media and email campaigns
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns and seasonal sales to increase direct-to-consumer revenue
  • Monitor store performance metrics (traffic, conversion, orders) and recommend improvements
  • Explore and manage product listings on Lazada, Shopee, or Amazon as applicable
  • Coordinate with Finance & Operations Executive to ensure smooth order dispatch

Grants & Funding

  • Research and apply for Singapore government grants related to EdTech, curriculum enrichment, and community education
  • Identify and apply for NGO or foundation grants aligned with SKOOL21's education and sustainability mission

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in community marketing, event coordination, or education programme support
  • Experience managing social media accounts and creating marketing materials (Canva-level proficiency)
  • Exposure to e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Lazada, Shopee, or equivalents
  • Background in enrichment centres, homeschool communities, children's programmes, or education NGOs is a strong advantage
