Corporate Communications Executive

Job Summary

The Corporate Communications Executive will enhance FIDReC's corporate reputation and brand presence through clear, audience-focused communication. This role supports external and internal communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement, brand governance, and CSR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create clear, accurate, and audience-focused content including corporate announcements, speeches, talking points, website content, presentations, videos, infographics, and thought leadership articles to effectively communicate FIDReC's role and values.
  • Collaborate with senior management and internal stakeholders to align messages with FIDReC's mission and values, ensuring consistent tone and style across all communications.
  • Review communication materials to ensure quality, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with FIDReC's corporate identity and reputation.
  • Support media and public relations by coordinating with PR partners, arranging interviews, and managing media opportunities to enhance FIDReC's public profile.
  • Plan and implement stakeholder engagement initiatives, outreach events, corporate events, and CSR activities, liaising with external organizations as needed.
  • Partner with teams to manage internal and external communication platforms such as the intranet and corporate website, ensuring content is accurate, current, and well-presented.
  • Manage the communications mailbox by monitoring enquiries, coordinating timely and professional responses with relevant stakeholders, and tracking follow-ups.
  • Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned by Management or Supervisor.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in communications, public relations, or content development.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through content creation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail and consistency.
  • Experience developing content for multiple channels including digital platforms, presentations, speeches, and internal/external communications.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to work independently and collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Resourceful, self-driven, and adaptable with a positive attitude and agile mindset.
  • Strong analytical, project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Canva, and other content creation and productivity tools.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in the financial services or dispute resolution sector.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership communications or stakeholder engagement.
  • Skills in video editing and multimedia content creation.
