The role will take a lead in planning and executing fundraising events, strengthening donor stewardship, and supporting initiatives that advance the organisation's fundraising goals.
Job Description:
Fundraising Events & Projects Management
Lead the planning, organisation, and execution of creative and impactful fundraising events.
Manage end-to-end event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor management, sponsorship coordination, programme flow, guest management, and on-site execution.
Work closely with the reporting manager and internal stakeholders to conceptualise meaningful donor engagement events that effectively communicate CAL's mission and impact.
Coordinate the preparation of event materials such as marketing collaterals, donor decks, scripts, audio-visual content, and appeals.
Ensure compliance with prevailing regulatory requirements for fundraising activities, including liaising with relevant authorities for permits and licences where required.
Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate fundraising outcomes, participant experience, and areas for improvement.
Support the development of signature events and cultivate long-term partnerships through high-quality event experiences.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, donors, and community partners to grow sustainable support for CAL.
Maintain accurate donor records and prepare regular fundraising and donor management reports.
Work with programme teams to ensure donor-funded initiatives incorporate clear impact reporting.
Partner closely with Finance to ensure proper management of restricted and unrestricted funds.
Maintain accurate volunteer databases and oversee administrative processes.
Coordinate with the reporting manager and internal stakeholders to effectively deploy volunteers for programmes and events.
Evaluate volunteer programmes regularly and implement improvements where necessary.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Event Management, or related field.
Preferably 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, or event management, ideally within the social service or nonprofit sector.
Proven ability to manage events independently with strong project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
