About the Role

Tsao Foundation is seeking a seasoned and purposedriven Executive Director to lead the Hua Mei Training Academy (HMTA)Singapore's dedicated provider of communitybased eldercare training.

Reporting to CEO, the Executive Director is accountable for the overall growth, performance, and sustainability of HMTA. This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of eldercare capabilitybuilding by driving impactful training initiatives for industry partners, clients, and community stakeholders, while aligning closely with Tsao Foundation's longterm mission and social impact goals.

This is a senior leadership role for an individual who brings together strategic vision, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to community service and ageingrelated work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies and plans to drive growth with targeted clients, industry partners, and government agencies
  • Hold full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability to ensure sustainable and profitable growth of the Training Academy
  • Oversee and drive performance across marketing, operations, and programme development functions
  • Lead, coach, and develop highperforming teams through effective recruitment, engagement, performance management, and capability development
  • Guide and oversee continual curriculum development and improvement to ensure relevance and quality
  • Position Hua Mei Training Academy as a leading provider of eldercare and communitybased training in Singapore
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Work closely with government bodies on funding, grants, and reporting obligations
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of operational, financial, and regulatory reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in sectors such as healthcare, training providers, adult education, community development, or programme management
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership or similar capacity, with demonstrated organisational leadership
  • Proven Profit & Loss management experience
  • Strong strategic, stakeholder management, and people leadership capabilities
  • Enjoys building new initiatives, scaling programmes, and leading community interventions
  • Genuine passion for working with and supporting older persons and the broader community
