The Role
The Executive Director is accountable for the overall growth and performance of the Hua Mei Training Academy under Tsao Foundation. The key focus of this role is to drive the training initiatives for clients / industry players to meet its vision, mission and operational goals. In addition, the role will need to develop, plan, lead and implement strategic plans, aligning with the Foundation's overall long-term mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans targeting clients, industry partners, and government agencies
- Manage full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibilities to drive sustainable growth
- Oversee the performance of HMTA's marketing, operations, and programme development functions
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with organisational goals and KPIs
- Lead, manage, and develop staff to achieve performance and organisational objectives
- Oversee continual curriculum development to ensure training relevance and quality
- Strengthen HMTA's positioning as a leading provider of eldercare and communitybased training
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Work closely with relevant government agencies on funding, grants, and reporting matters
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of operational, financial, and regulatory reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare, training providers, adult education, community development, or programme management
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or similar role
- Proven experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L)
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills
- Comfortable leading change, growth initiatives, and community interventions
- Passion for working with older persons and contributing to community impact
