We are looking for an exceptional and commercially driven Executive Director – Private Wealth & Family Office to lead and grow our Private Wealth service line.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth, delivering outstanding client service and ensuring robust governance and operational excellence. You will act as a trusted advisor to HNW and UHNW clients, overseeing complex structures while enhancing the organisation's market presence and reputation.

As a member of the local Board, you will play a key role in strategic decision making, governance and oversight, while also acting as a director and authorised signatory on client entities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Client Leadership

  • Lead the growth strategy for Private Wealth & Family Office within your jurisdiction
  • Act as Relationship Lead for a portfolio of high value, complex clients
  • Drive revenue through new business development, cross selling and client expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries, advisors and partners
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences and networking forums
  • Contribute to product and service innovation to meet evolving client needs
  • Support Group wide strategic initiatives, including expansion into new markets

Leadership & Culture

  • Inspire and lead a high performing team, fostering accountability and excellence
  • Promote a client centric culture, balancing commercial success with integrity
  • Encourage collaboration across jurisdictions and service lines
  • Champion professional development, mentoring and succession planning
  • Create an inclusive, high engagement working environment
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the function

Governance & Operational Excellence

  • Serve as a member of the local Board, contributing to governance and strategy
  • Oversee fiduciary and trust administration to ensure high quality, compliant delivery
  • Maintain oversight of governance, KYC, AML/CFT and risk management frameworks
  • Act as a director and authorised signatory on client entities
  • Manage financial performance, including profitability, billing and budget delivery
  • Drive operational efficiency through technology, automation and process improvements
  • Ensure audit readiness, accurate reporting and strong internal controls
  • Oversee client onboarding governance, ensuring compliance with due diligence and risk frameworks

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 12 years experience in private wealth, fiduciary or trust administration
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi jurisdictional structures
  • Experience acting as a director and authorised signatory on client entities
  • Strong knowledge of trust law, governance, compliance and risk management
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth, profitability and client retention
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to develop high performing teams
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Track record in business development and winning new mandates
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. STEP, CGIUKI, ACCA or equivalent)

Desirable

  • Experience working with UHNW or family office structures
  • Exposure to multi jurisdictional regulatory environments
  • Established network of intermediaries and professional advisors
  • Experience in business transformation or operational improvement
  • Involvement in industry forums or thought leadership initiatives
