Executive Director / Director of Operations, CSPO
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Director of Operations to lead campus and facilities operations across multiple sites, ensuring infrastructure and services effectively support research, innovation, and collaboration. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in strategic planning, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement, with experience in specialized environments such as laboratories and clean rooms. As the senior operational interface, the Director will drive service excellence, manage escalations, and enhance overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operations
- Develop and execute operational strategies to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency
- Support long-term planning for campus expansion, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
Facilities & Campus Management
- Oversee facilities services in line with SLAs, contracts, and organisational policies
- Maintain high standards of safety, maintenance, and operational performance
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary contact for senior stakeholders and campus leadership
- Drive client satisfaction through proactive engagement and service improvement
Space, Data & Occupancy Management
- Ensure accuracy of facilities data and provide occupancy insights
- Deliver analysis and reports to support decision-making
Financial & Resource Management
- Manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and capital projects
- Ensure efficient and sustainable use of resources
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple campuses
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and service excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline
- SIFMA CFME Tier 1 or Tier 2 certification is preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in facilities or infrastructure management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing teams or multi-site operations
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, TPM)
- Experience managing specialized facilities such as laboratories, clean rooms, or advanced manufacturing environments is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and sustainability practices
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in facilities management systems and operational tools.
Other Information
- Work Location: West-Central, Singapore
- Job Type: Contract - 3 Years (Extendable)
- Salary Range: S$12,000 - S$22,000
- Benefits: Entitled to annual increment, benefits, and bonuses during the contract duration.
- Working Hours: Mon-Thu: 8:30am-6:00pm Fri: 8:30am-5:30pm
