About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive junior to mid-level Executive, to support cross-departmental initiatives and ensure smooth coordination of new business activities and internal new product clearance processes. This position plays a key role in supporting new business initiatives, new product clearance and process standardization across Straits Financial's brokerage and financial services operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effective cross-functional execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating new business initiatives and new product clearance processes.
- Manage project timelines, meetings, and documentation to ensure activities are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as Sales, Risk, IT, Operations, Finance, Business Development and Front Office to align deliverables and track progress, process mapping and gap analysis.
- Maintain and update trackers, reports, and records for ongoing business initiatives.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements and ensure solutions-independent (not technical).
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews and collect sign-offs for new product or activity completion.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in business operations, project coordination, or process management.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with various internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and workflow tracking tools.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge in derivatives, digital assets and payment, tokenization will be an added advantage.
