Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design - Develop conceptual and detailed designs for aviation projects that are functional, sustainable, and visually compelling.
Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to align design solutions with project goals and client expectations.
Project Leadership - Manage design projects of varying scales, including airport expansions and facility upgrades, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Multidisciplinary Coordination - Collaborate with engineering teams across disciplines to ensure design feasibility, compliance, and integration.
Technical Documentation - Produce detailed drawings, models, and specifications using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp ensure documentation is accurate and compliant.
Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all designs meet aviation regulations, building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability requirements.
Client & Authority Engagement - Present design concepts, integrate feedback, and liaise with airport authorities and regulatory bodies to meet operational and safety standards.
Construction Support - Provide oversight during construction, conduct site visits, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Experience: Architectural experience, with experience/interest in aviation or large-scale public infrastructure environments.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard design software.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety standards, building codes, IATA ADRM compliance, and sustainable design principles.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex design ideas clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
Project Management: Proven experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects, from design through construction phases.
