Role Description
The IPS Events & Marketing Officer will be a key member of Axiom Asia's Investor Partnership Services (IPS) team. This role will be investor-facing and events-driven, with full ownership of end-to-end planning and execution of investor engagement events across globally. The ideal candidate brings a hospitality mindset, a proactive can-do attitude, and the ability to balance professionalism, multitasking, and meticulous attention to detail in high-stakes environments.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Event Planning (30%)
- Collaborate with the IPS team to develop and manage the annual event calendar, aligning with fundraising and investor engagement priorities.
- Brainstorm and curate high-touch hospitality experiences such as dinner receptions, company visits, personalised messages, and gifts.
- Research and evaluate venues globally that meet Axiom Asia's standards of professionalism and budget.
- Prepare detailed event proposals including budgets, schedules, and vendor recommendations for management approval.
- Conduct site inspections and vendor assessments to ensure suitability.
- Consolidate post-event feedback and team debriefs, integrating insights into future planning.
- Reconcile budgets, oversee vendor payments, and maintain an archive of event assets, vendor information, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
2. Event Logistics & Vendor Management (30%)
- Coordinate with internal, external stakeholders and presenters to ensure smooth content delivery.
- Negotiate with venues, hotels, restaurants, and service providers to secure premium service at competitive terms.
- Oversee vendor management end-to-end, including payment processing, coordination, and finalisation of deliverables.
- Ensure all vendors are thoroughly briefed in advance and uphold professionalism during events.
- Manage international logistics including shipping, customs clearance, and storage of event materials.
- Oversee travel and accommodation for investors, staff, and guests together with admin support.
- Prepare and manage all event materials including signage, booklets, investor packs, name badges, and branded collaterals together with admin support.
- Assist with run-of-show, briefing stakeholders, and conducting rehearsals as required.
3. On-Site Leadership (10%)
- Act as the main liaison with vendors and venue staff during execution to ensure seamless delivery.
- Serve as the professional point of contact and host for investors before, during, and after events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve last-minute issues or emergencies involving investors, staff, or vendors.
- Direct and coordinate IPS team members responsibilities during events (registration, hosting, support).
4. Marketing & Communication (30%)
- Maintain and update the Axiom Asia corporate website, ensuring details and investor resources are accurate and professional.
- Create and manage event microsites for RSVPs, agendas, and attendee information.
- Coordinate and distribute investor communications including event invitations, whitepapers, and newsletters through the in-house CRM system to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent messaging.
- Maintain and regularly update the CRM mailing lists, ensuring segmentation accuracy.
- Track and monitor campaign effectiveness, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in hospitality, airlines or events and marketing roles.
- Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Dealcloud, CMS/website tools, or event platforms a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills; other languages beneficial.
- Willingness to travel extensively for investor events.
