Events & Industry Engagement Executive / Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and creative Events &Industry Engagement professional to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of institutional and industry-facing events. The role covers the full lifecycle-from conceptualisation, stakeholder coordination, logistics, delivery, to post-event content creation including social media eg LinkedIn posts and engagement amplification.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening industry visibility, thought leadership positioning, and external partnerships through impactful events and digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Event Management
- Plan and execute industry talks, panel discussions, roundtables, seminars, and networking events
- Manage full event lifecycle including concept development, budgeting, logistics, vendor management, and execution
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, faculty, speakers, and external industry partners
- Deliver physical, virtual, and hybrid events
- Manage registrations, attendee experience, and post-event follow-ups
2. Industry Engagement & Speaker Management
- Identify and engage industry speakers, thought leaders, and partners
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate and institutional stakeholders
- Curate event themes aligned with industry trends and organisational priorities
- Prepare briefing materials and coordinate speaker logistics
3. Content Creation & LinkedIn Amplification
- Write and publish LinkedIn posts and event summaries
- Develop post-event write-ups and thought leadership content
- Translate event insights into engaging digital storytelling
- Collaborate with marketing/communications teams to ensure consistent branding
4. Strategic Support
- Propose new event formats and engagement strategies
- Support development of industry partnerships and collaborations
- Track event performance metrics and feedback for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, Business, or related field
- 2-6 years of experience in events management, corporate communications, or stakeholder engagement
- Proven experience managing end-to-end events (corporate, education, or industry settings preferred)
- Strong writing skills with LinkedIn or corporate content creation experience
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented
